I got your Vegan Mofo right here!
This time it’s harmless. The 2013 Vegan Mofo (Vegan Month of Food) started on September 1st. It’s a challenge in which you write about vegan food for the entire month of September. Easy for some (have you SEEN how crazy vegans are with their pictures and blogs about food?), and indeed a test for others, like me. No time to write about food when your busy stuffing your face.
But I’m doing it anyway because, well, I have lots of spare time. Riiiiiight. Nah. Because truthfully, it seems kind of fun! And for me, it goes a little something like this:
Week 1 (like, now): Restaurants!
Week 2: Vegan on $5 a day (won’t be hard. I’m broke and broker after week 1)
Week 3: No gluten or whites allowed (ugh)
Week 4: Raw (kill me now)
Week 1 and 2 won’t be too bad with Zeke in tow but screw me for week 3 and 4. Serving him up gluten free followed by raw food ain’t going to be fun. But then again, he’s not the one doing the challenge-I am. I suppose I will still serve him up his standard gluten filled, overcooked slop (only the best for my boy:))! I just need to be sure not to sneak any bites (because it sounds soooo tempting, huh?).
